More about the Lido 14. This from the May 2011 Sailing World interview by Dave Reed, editor, with Tom and Jane Schock.
"The Lido 14 has taught more Californians to sail than any other boat. It has to be one of the best stories of the company.... The Lido was built to easy: fat so it's stable, comfortable, just a few minutes to rig, and easy to store in a carport or garage. He never intended for it to be a raceboat. ... And now they all want to race... but it turns out to be the biggest racing fleet in California..."
